Maria Victoria Almeida Vazquez (SFS '25)

Maria Victoria is a senior at Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service pursuing a degree in International Politics with a concentration in Security and a minor in Chinese. She is passionate about spreading pro-life messages to younger generations, particularly women. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and migrated with her family to Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2011. She aspires to make a lasting impact on the field of national security and public policy. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys hiking, doing hot yoga, spending time with her family and friends, and trying new foods.

Leah Raymond (CAS '26)

Leah is a junior in the College studying government and education.  Originally from Rochester Hills, MI, she has enjoyed going to school on and exploring the East Coast, most recently living in NYC over the summer and teaching fourth grade in Manhattan.  She is passionate about making everyone feel welcome in the pro-life space and extending pro-life conversation to places in which it is not usually found.  Leah also finds it important to emphasize other issues under the pro-life umbrella, such as making the death penalty and euthanasia unthinkable, and ensuring all young people have access to quality health and education.  She fills her free time with singing in half a dozen choirs, exploring DC, and chasing fireworks shows.

Elizabeth Oliver (CAS '26)

Co-Director

Elizabeth, a junior in the College from Greenwich, CT, is majoring in Classics with a concentration in Latin and double minoring in French and Theology. In addition to serving as OCC Co-Director, she is in her second year as President of Georgetown University Right to Life. Last spring, Elizabeth completed an internship at the Heritage Foundation in the DeVos Center for Life, Family, and Religion, an experience she hopes will help her better support this year's Conference. She loves to travel, enjoys singing, and likes cooking with friends and family. Elizabeth is passionate about strengthening the pro-life message at Georgetown and empowering other students to use their voices for the voiceless.

Paul is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying classics and theology. Hailing from Alexandria, VA, he is the President of the University’s Thomistic Institute and Knights of Columbus chapters. Having served as Outreach Coordinator last year, Paul is thrilled and honored to connect with Conference benefactors this year.

Paige Lane (MSB '26)

Paige is a junior in the MSB studying finance and marketing. She is from Weston, Florida and enjoys swimming, playing the violin, and writing. Paige is passionate about finding new ways to bring a voice to the voiceless and believes equal justice lies in defending all life, especially the weakest and most defenseless. She also serves as the Social Chair for Georgetown’s Right to Life.

Hans is a junior in the School of Foreign Service studying Global Business. He looks forward to contributing to the pro-life movement on Georgetown’s campus through his role with the OCC. Hans loves the outdoors and spent a gap year skiing and cowboying before starting on the Hilltop.

Daniela Castillo Cayon (SFS ‘26)

Daniela is a junior in the School of Foreign Service studying Global Business with a minor in French and Spanish. She is originally from central Mexico but grew up around the West Coast of the United States. In addition to the Conference, she is involved in Catholic Women at Georgetown, Ritmo y Sabor Latin American Dance Team, and Innovo Consulting. Daniela is passionate about upholding the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death and is excited to work with the rest of the OCC board to make this year’s conference a success!

George is a junior Government and Classics major from Maryland. At Georgetown, he is an Outreach Chair for the O’Connor Conference, and he is involved with leadership in the Knights of Columbus and Right to Life groups on campus. He believes in standing up for life at all stages, from conception to natural death.

Shelby is a sophomore from Wheaton, Illinois, studying English and German. In addition to the OCC, Shelby is involved in Catholic Women at Georgetown, ESCAPE first year retreats, and DC Reads. She enjoys reading, rollerblading, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Sarah Kennedy (SFS ‘25)

Sarah is a senior in the Walsh School of Foreign studying international politics and Persian. She serves on the board of Catholic Women at Georgetown and enjoys reading about Ancient Rome and Central Asia. She is passionate about creating a sacred space at this year's Conference through Holy Hour and the Mass for Life.


Mass for Life Director

Dean is a sophomore in the College studying History and Government. He grew up in Charleston, SC, but he has spent the last five years and counting living in NY. On campus, he is involved with the Knights of Columbus, Right to Life, and Chapel Choir, and he is excited to be the Co-Director for the Mass for Life. Dean believes that all people are created in the image and likeness of God and that each human life deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. In his free time, Dean enjoys playing pipe organ and fishing on Long Island.

Volunteer Coordinator

George LeMieux is a Senior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Government, hailing from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. George serves as President of the Philonomisan Society, GUSA Senator, Representative on the Georgetown Speech and Expression Committee, Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Bipartisan Coalition, and advisor to the Knights of Columbus. Outside of the classroom, George enjoys club boxing, college football, and Formula 1.

Frank Anstett (CAS ‘27)

Frank is a sophomore at Georgetown studying economics and theology. He considers himself a DMV Native, born and raised having lived in and attended school in Virginia, Maryland, and now DC. Being so close, he grew up attending the March for Life every year. Being pro-life is so important to him because no human being should be denied the dignity of life, the greatest gift of all.

Adam Kurzweil (SFS ‘26)

Adam is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service from Westchester, NY. He is passionate about protecting innocent life from conception to natural death, and he hopes to convince others of the intrinsic value of life. In addition to the conference, he is involved in a variety of Catholic groups, including Knights of Columbus, Right to Life, and the Thomistic Institute.

Alexis Childs (SFS ‘27)

Alexis is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service studying International Politics. She is originally from Arkansas and now lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In addition to OCC, she is involved in Right to Life, College Republicans, and a Georgetown debate society. Alexis is passionate about spreading a pro-life message, particularly to  young voters, and working to make college campuses a more welcoming space for pregnant and parenting students.
